(Contract / Full-time)
We're building diagnostic hardware that ends up in real clinical settings — and we need an engineer who wants to own the work, not just contribute to it.
Medical Device Hardware Engineer
What you'll work on
You'll be hands-on across the full hardware stack: closing firmware gaps for ATS/ERS spirometry compliance, BTPS correction and calibration, PCB design and revision across analog and mixed-signal circuits, sensor integration, and building out the CDSCO technical file and IEC 60601-1 hardware documentation.
What we're looking for
You have 3+ years in embedded hardware, ideally from medical or industrial device environments. You're comfortable with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, or Eagle), Embedded C/C++, I2C/SPI sensor interfacing, and analog signal acquisition. Familiarity with ATS/ERS spirometry standards or IEC 60601-1 is a strong plus.
What we offer
Competitive industry salary and ESOPs. More importantly, the work is meaningful — the hardware you build goes directly into patient care. You'll get exposure to the full medical device lifecycle across R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing. We also offer a contract-to-hire pathway for the right candidate.
This is a small, focused team. You won't be handed a narrow spec and left alone. You'll have real ownership over the hardware — and real visibility into where it goes.
